Hey guys.  I practice dance because I’m a maiden in the service of a Shinto shrine (it called Miko in Japanese).  I will show this dance New Year’s Day.  So I must practice harder.  Do you have any plan for New Year’s Day?  Please tell me. Haha

a.    What did you study in class today?

First, I study about reading because I’m not good at reading and dislike it.  So I opened NetAcademy, then I chose level3.  The title of it is “prejudice against HIV”.  And I advanced Advance stage.  It is difficult for me, but I like it.  I typed sentences and memorized vocabulary etc…  I probably studied 20 to 30 minutes.  Sorry, my memory is not certain.  Second, I opened Ferris Online and I chose English Bites.  I studied by using this website for the first time.  This website can study listening.  I listened about Australia’s news.  The title is “Bridge climb” and “Mardi Gras”.  I studied about 25 minutes. 

b.    What your opinion of website?

I like NetAcademy because it can enjoy studying.  And sentences of exercise can learn besides English, I think.  Then, English Bites is easy to understand for me.  It explains what words mean.  I like this point. 

c.     What did you learn about English?

I learned new vocabularies.  And I acquired the speed reading power.

d.    What did you learn about your study skills and strategies?

I think I should read English books because I’m not good at reading skills.  And my vocabulary is so poor.  I remember it as much as possible.

Hey guys.  Last Sunday, I went to Lake town in Saitama with my friends.  Do you know it?  It’s a very big shopping mall.  And I went to ABC cooking studio, I bake a cake.  It looks great and I presented for my parents.  My dad said “Yummy! We needn’t buy cakes by shop.” all the time. J haha  So I had a great weekend. What about you?

a.    What did you studey in class today?

I studied various things by using NetAcademy and Living English.  I studied on NetAcademy after a long time because I studied on Living English recently.  So, today I studied Net Academy about 50 minutes and Living English 20 minutes.  On NetAcademy, I studied about vocabulary and listening.  Title of the listening is “Small travel to dune”.  It is written about Tottori dune.  So I studied it completely, then I advanced advance stage.  And on Living English, I listened episode 40-42.  42 is final episode.  So I finished this website.

b.    What your opinion of website?

First, Netacademy is good.  We can study what is appropriate for own level.  Forexample, I think I’m good at listening but I’m not good at about vocablary.  So each level is different.  In this respect, I like it.  And advance stage is interesting!  I like it.  We can learn again, and this typing game is fun.  Next is Living English.  I love it because it’s about human drama.  So I was able to study while enjoying it.

c.     What did you learn about English?

I studied a lot of vocabularies on both website and listening skills and grammar, correct spelling.  And about conversations.

d.    What did you learn about your study skills and strategies?

I study by using NetAcademy as much as possible.  And I think I should listen to western music when I ride on train or something.  Then, I review grammar because I foget it.

Hey, guys.  Today, my classmate must announcement about woman’s relationship in listening class.  So it finished, I’m easy in my mind.  By the way, it rained in buckets last Friday!  I wasn’t late this English class, but many classmates were late it.  I think it’s too bad day for us! L  Don’t you?

a.    What did you study in class today?

I chose Ferris Online and I studied listening on Living English.  This is TV program for English beginner learner.  The title of this drama is ‘Sisters and Brothers’.  So I watched this drama 50 min for listening skill and conversation skill.  I watched episode 27 to 40.  And we began to study new website to study correct grammar.  So I studied about verb 30 min.  I think I had a great time. J

b.    What your opinion of website?

Living English is my favorite site. You know I always write and study about it on my blog.  This site can learn skill of English.  It is easy to understand for me and maybe my classmates. And this site has in everyday situations.  I love this point.  And grammar site is easy for me and it is interesting site, I think.

c.     What did you learn about English?

I studied conversation and listening skill and grammar.  Especially, I studied grammar again.  When I was a high school student, I studied hard it.  But now, I forget it in places.  So I review it again and again.

d.    What did you learn about your study skills and strategies?

I noticed I forget a lot of grammar.   So I should study English grammar more by using this website.   My aim is to have good English skills.

Hey guys.  I worked part-time for the first time yesterday and I worked at broiled meat restaurant.  So this job is so hard.  But workers are so kind.  So I thought I work hard!  And today, I’m going to work it. 

a.    What did you study in class today?

19^th was the vocabulary test.  I studied hard about it the day before.  So I took an examination for it 30min.  I don’t know my result, but I thought that I worked hard.  Next, I opened the Ferris Online and I chose Living English.  I listened Episode 21 to 27 about 25min. 

b.    What your opinion of website?

I love this site so I studied it over and over again!  Living English can learn about conversation as natural speed.  And in above all, the story of this drama is so interesting!  So I think I can learn listening while enjoying it.  And the story continues, so I want to be anxious about continuation and to study again.  Maybe it’s important for us to study all, I think.

c.     What did you learn about English?

I learned pronunciations.  I can’t pronounce like native speaker, so I think I want to learn it.  And what the best shortcut to accomplish it is listening!  So I learned correct pronunciations.

d.    What did you learn about your study skills and strategies?

I think my listening skills and conversation is not so good.  So I should listen conversation and pronounce it.

Hey, guys.　　I’m Manami.  I have been busy recently.  May be my classmate, too because we have so many homework about English or another class.  So I’m very sleepy now. haha  And I’ll began to work this Friday.  But I caught a cold.  So I must cure it.

a.What did you study in class today?

I studied listening skill.  First, I chose “National Geographic KIDS”.  I watched some videos, which about spider and dog etc.  I’m so interested in these videos and it is easy to listen to it for me. So 2 weeks ago, I chose “Living English”. I want to try it again. So I chose it after National Geographic KIDS.  Living English is like a video drama and I enjoyed listening to it, we can remember some phrases of a conversation. Some speaker s says some short lines, so it is easy to understand and to remember it.  And I listened to Episode 3 to Episode 20.  The heroin of this drama is girl, who from Singapore.  And she came to Australia for finding her little brother.  She meets a kind Australian, and she try to find her little brother.  This is the short of this drama.  So I can study the listening by seeing this drama while enjoying it.

b.What your opinion of website?

 I think these sites are very interesting!  And it matches my English level. 

Especially, my favorite site is Living English because I can learn so many conversations in my life.  So I can use now!

c.What did you learn about English?

 I studied native conversations in life and when I find that I don’t know phase, I think “oh, I don’t know there is such an expression.”  So I memorize.  So I know many phases now.

Now, I don’t know so many conversations!  So I should remember it by using these sites or speaking the Ferris teacher’s or communicating with my foreign friend or something. I should fell English more close, I think.  So First, I began to use these sites, I study English more.

Hey, guys. I’m Manami. Did you enjoy last week? I...did! 25^th is my birthday. So Thanks about your happy comment on my blog. I’m so happy girl! Thank you very much. And I spent a special week. My club members celebrated my birthday with a party. I ate cakes! haha :P I should go on a diet..X( And this week is Ferris festival! So let’s enjoy it! yeah

a.    What did you study in class today?

I studied only listening skills. But I studied various listening on various situation. First, I opened Living English. This site can listen about live English. For example, episode 1 is “pleased to meet you”. I listened to it, it is easy to listen for me and I think my classmate too. And we can use this English pattern right now because it’s easy to remember. Second, I opened ELLO. There are quizzes. So I listened conversations of foreigner, next we can answer some quizzes. Last Friday, I tried to listen about Hawaii and Sri Lankan food. It’s very interesting topic. And I think this listening level is a little difficult. But I think you like it. Third, I opened Geobeats. This site is most interesting for me in all sites because subjects are so funny. For example, I tried to listening about Japan! I thought I can know how Japan is introduced for foreigner. There are about Harajuku and Shibuya as modern Japan. From Japanese people’s angle, something is funny. And there are many interesting subject about foreign country. I chose about India’s food. We can learn listening but also culture. I think it’s important for us. So I like this site! Forth, I opened Ebert & Roeper. If you watch or listening this site, you want to watch this movie! I did! There are many short movies. I enjoyed listening very much! So I tried to listening 4 sites, I think it’s good for us to study listening every sites.

b.    What your opinion of website?

 I wrote above question, so I think these sites are interesting and we can enjoy listening! Of course, I can learn listening not also culture. So I think different culture is important for international gender. These sites can learn it so it’s good to learn everything. I like to study these sites.

c.     What did you learn about English?

 I learned native conversations as natural speed. I tried to catch up it, so I think my ears accustomed like this. And I learned some phrase as native conversations. So If I go some foreign countries, I can use some phrase.

a.    What did you learn about your study skills and strategies?

 I think I must listen to native conversation as native speed. So I should study these sites everyday! And I should talk to Ferris English teachers. Not afraid, try it. Even if I have mistake, I think I learn correct answers.

Hi, everyone. I went to the doctor because I had a cold. So be sure to take good care of yourself. And next Monday is my 19^th birthday. haha :) So I have to cure my cold.

a.     What did you study in class today?
→    I studied all listening and reading and vocabulary on Net Academy. We had limited time. But we had to study all things. So I studied listening about 30 min, and I studied reading about 25 min, then I studied some vocabulary about 25 min. And really, I tried to study reading for the first time because I don’t like reading. I run away my poor thing! But I tried it on Friday! Surprisingly, it was interesting. For example, the matter of 　long sentence. I chose the name of title is Football player and DNA. It was interesting title, I think. I knew my speed how long I read it. And I try to advance stage! It’s difficult but I like it. It’s exciting! Especially, my exciting place is what I was eaten by dog for my mistakes. My heart beat for it! I was really fun while I study English. But it was so short time for studying all things. So I think I should study all things at home.

b.     What was your opinion of the website?
→I attempted to study different levels. For example, I chose level 1from 5 about listening and 1 and 2 about reading and level 1 about vocabulary. It was so interesting because I tried to advance stage for the first time. I didn’t know it. So I had a full time! We can save a lot of points if you hard work. I love like this. So I want to save a lot of point!

c.     What did you learn about English?
→First, I knew about advance stage system. So I can type correct sentence. Even if I make a mistake, I can learn correct spelling. I made a lot of mistakes but I learned correct English. I think it’s important to everything. Second, I studied some vocabularies. Third, I knew my speed how long I read long sentence in English. So I can know my reading level.

d.     What did you learn about your study skills and strategies?
→I　thought my reading speed is slow. So I should read many books in English because it makes me can read more quickly. And I think it is important for reading skill to enjoy reading a book in English. Of course, we should enjoy English to every situation.

a. What did you study in class today?
→I studied to listening skills on Net Academy! I tried to level 4 and 5! And I studied a lot of vocabularies too. This level is 1 and 3. 

b.What was your opinion of the website?
→I studied listening and I chose level 4 and 5. It's a difficult for me! It's too fast. But it's interesting because I studied to listening about Harry Potter. This question is close to me and you know many world people love it. So I enjoyed listening and I can learn difficult vocabularies. And I studied a lot of vocabularies. But it's level 1. It's too easy for me! But I'm not good at vocabularies.

c.What did you learn about English?
→I learned new vocabularies and reviewed some vocabulary. And I studied listening technique.

d. What did you learn about your study skills and strategies?
→I listen to foreign music every day. But I think it's inadequacy. So I think I try to study English on Net Academy if I have a lot of times.

Hi,everyone. I'm Manami.
I'm so sleepy. But I must do homework now! So cheer up me. But tomorrow is my holiday. I'm going to over sleep tomorrow. So thursday is my lucky day.

a. What did you study in class today?
→I studied listenig skills on Net Academy and I wrote my gold on my blog. So I tried to listening and this level is 3. It's a little difficult. But I tried it over and over again, I can listen English better and I can learn naturally new vocabularies! It is my glad things.

b.What was your opinion of the website?
→I chose level 3. I think it's a very interesting and I love it. But it's a little difficult but I think it's a right level to me because If I chose level 2, I think it's too easy for me. So it's a right level. And next time, I want to try level 4!

c.What did you learn about English?
→I learned new vocabularies and listening speed and listening technique.

d. What did you learn about your study skills and strategies?
→I learned listening skills. I think listening speed is a little fast. So I thought it's difficult for me to understand say somethings. And I was aware that I should listen English more through daily life.

→I think I can't reading quickly and understanding.

→My necessary thing is effort! And I have to study English everyday. For example, I listen to foreign music and study vocabulary in commuter train.

→I studied English on Net Academy about an hour. I chose Dojo because I should know many tvocabularies. I'm not good at about it. And I took the test about TOEIC. It's so difficult and I didn't have enough time. But I think it'a start. If I studied more, I could use English very well. So I wanna try it again and again. Be positive! It's my motto.

→I think this website is interesting because we can know about us English livel and chose different levels. So we can know that we should do now. I love it.

→I learned so many things. For example,words and TOEIC's fomal and more. I have ever took the examination of TOEIC. But I wanna try it someday. So I learn about TOEIC's formal.

Hello ♥  I'm going to introduce about me.
My name is Manami Takahashi. Please call me Manami. I'm from Saitama.  I live in Saitama with my family. Do you know "Kasukabe"? It is famous for "Crayon Shinchan". And I went to Kasukabe Girls' High School. My high school is only girls! And Ferris university too. But I enjoyed spending school life. And of coursse, I'm Ferris university student and I belong to fuculty of global and inter-clutural studies. My English class is F! I wanna make many Friends. So Please make friends with me. By the way, I belong to soccer club of Yokohama National University. I'm not player. I'm a manager. Just watching!
There are 5 members in my family. And I have a pet dog.His name is Flake. I'm godparent. He is 11 years old. He is old dog but he likes playing ball. I love him.
And I like listening to western music and going to movie. I love romanic things. And above all things, I love Disney. For example,Disney Resorts,songs,dramas,movies,heros,princess...and so on.  I watch the Disney Cannel everyday! It's so funny and I love it. Especially, I like Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place. Do you know its? This is so funny and songs of drama is good! You should watch it!
